Question 1

What actually is it?

Accepted Answer

A hooded heated blanket you wear rather than drape: sleeves for your arms, a hood for your head and a pocket for your feet, in soft flannel.

Question 2

How warm does it get?

Accepted Answer

It is a 130 W electric blanket, so it warms you directly instead of heating the room around you. Most people feel the warmth within a few minutes of plugging it in.

Question 3

Can I walk around in it?

Accepted Answer

It is mains powered, so you are on the end of a cable. It is made for sitting or lying — the sofa, a desk chair, the bed — rather than walking about the house.

Question 4

Will it fit me?

Accepted Answer

It is one size at 127 × 177 cm, which covers most adults from hood to foot. It is worn loose, so it fits comfortably over clothes or a hoodie.
